The central Gender Equality Officer of the University of Greifswald advises and supports students and staff in all matters related to gender equality, gender-specific discrimination and a healthy work-life balance.

The aim of counselling is to assess the situation and discuss any required next steps. The Central Gender Equality Officer only intervenes with the consent of the person concerned and upholds the confidentiality of all parties involved.
