University Music Director

Conductor Harald Braun has been the University Music Director in Greifswald since 2004. As an artistic staff member, he directs the university choir, the university symphony orchestra and the Collegium musicum.

His fields of responsibility include the training of church music and Bachelor's students in conducting (orchestral conducting), hearing training, score and basso continuo playing, as well as the musical framework of university events, for example award ceremonies.

The University Music Director also participates in university self-administration and represents the University of Greifswald nationally and internationally through concert tours and partnership contacts.
